Can bad teeth can cause cancer?

Dentists in Poland always say that a poor state of the teeth badly affects our health. However, can the negligence of the mouth have such a serious effect on our body that we can get cancer?

Missing teeth increase the risk of esophageal cancer by 136%, head and neck cancer by 68%, lung cancer by 54%. Studies have also shown that the risk of developing one of these cancers grows in direct proportion to the number of teeth lost by the patient.
