Dental Bridge in Poland
TREATMENT DESCRIPTION:
What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge, also called a fixed partial denture is a sort of a crown replacing some missing teeth by filling the empty space between the teeth. Depending on the material used for their production, and the way they attach to the teeth there are several types of dental bridges.
Why should the missing teeth be replaced?
First of all, replacing the missing teeth improves the patient’s appearance. But it’s not only about the looks, the health can also be impacted as a gap left by a missing tooth can cause a bigger strain for the teeth around it. The ability to bite can also be affected, as the teeth next to the empty space can lean into the gap and this will affect the way that the lower and higher jaws bite together. Following those problems, the food can enter and get packed into the gap which can lead to decay and gum disease.
